There is a constant demand to stretch the boundaries in the offshore wind-turbine installation market. Turbines and their foundations are becoming bigger, heavier and higher and are being installed in evermore challenging environments and conditions. In combination with the need to make the installation process more efficient, We are convinced that a holistic approach to the design process is needed. Integrated design is our answer to offer the the market the solutions it is looking for.

Jack-up vessels have to deal with wind loads, whether it’s the journey or when in operation. An accurate prediction of the wind loads is of eminent importance during the design processes.

Interview with Karl Humberson from Dominion Energy: On the development of the first offshore wind farm in U.S. federal waters. Dominion Energy is using the NG-16000X-SJ wind turbine installation jack-up vessel designed by GustoMSC for the scale-up of its renewable and reliable energy operation.

Operating in its element: With the vessels Sea Installer and Sea Challenger, GeoSea delivered an impressive performance for the offshore wind farm Borssele 1&2. Upon completion the largest offshore wind farm in the Netherlands. The company took care of the transport and installation of 94 foundations and turbines.
